Hello! I’m Alvar Laigna, a seasoned software engineer, CTO, and avid hobby game developer. My passion lies in creating unique, story-driven puzzle games, ranging from casual experiences to extensive multi-platform projects.

Latest games

Null Katz is another gamejam game. This time, TalTech Gamecamp gamejam 2025 submission. This was also my daugher Pärle first game jam (7th grade, Tallinn 21. Kool).

Ice Bridge Runner is a top down 2D car game where players control a truck and travel across an ice bridge to deliver cargo while dodging obstacles and battling the weather. Create on TalTech Gamecamp gamejam on 2024 (https://gamecamp.ituk.ee/).

This game is called Shadow Potion Club, which was created for Pirate Software’s Game Jam 15. Created together with Tarmo Annus. You can check it out here.

My Journey in Game Development

• Siia-sinna läbi linna: My first venture into game development was a kids’ traffic education game, Siia-sinna läbi linna, which you can find here and here.

• Mahjong Wonders: I had the pleasure of participating in the development of Mahjong Wonders with Hypester Studio. Discover more about it here.

• Clickwork Games: As CTO of Clickwork Games, I helped build a gaming portal and wallet service.

Currently, I’m collaborating with my two brothers and a friend, Tarmo Annus, to bring our gaming visions to life.
